Our ancestors did not decide when to wake, what to prioritize, whether to exercise discipline today or postpone it until tomorrow. The world decided for them. Seasons imposed structure. Scarcity enforced consequence. They were governed, and governance made them capable.

You have been left to govern yourself in a world engineered to make self-governance impossible. This document examines why, drawing from behavioral science, anthropology, and years of applied work with high-functioning people who cannot stop failing themselves in private.
